Group Ocean Freight Procurement Manager
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the senior management, the candidate will be responsible for procuring competitive freight rates for the group. Responsibilities include:
*Develop group overall procurement strategy to enhance over cost efficiency
*Maintain and develop close relationship with carriers
*Drive group FCL development
*Co-ordinate group overall FCL direction & strategies
*Communicate & develop with overseas agents in FCL traffic development
*Negotiate and secure competitive Freight Rates from carriers in multiple trade lanes
Requirements :
*Possess a Degree/ Diploma with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
*Possess strong carrier connection/relationship , preferably with good connections with carrier's regional offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taiwan & Singapore
*Knowledge of carriers' pricing centre for different carriers
*Carrier Sales experience preferred
*Past experience & track record of carrier rate negotiation in similar capacity
*Knowledge of FCL Industry
*Must be a Team Player
*Require to travel frequently
*Good command of English & Mandarin
*Proficient in MS Office, including Word & Excel
